Automatic disc filtration combines a compact filtration element with automatic backwash for drip irrigation and fine-particle control.
Best for
Well water, fine inorganic particles, emitter protection, greenhouse irrigation, orchards and projects that need compact automatic filtration.
How it works
Inlet → Disc stack filtration → Differential pressure signal → Automatic backwash → Filtration resumes
Water passes through compressed disc grooves that retain particles. A control signal initiates backwash according to pressure differential, time or project logic.
When to choose it
Strong fit
Choose disc filtration when fine-particle removal, compact arrangement and automatic backwash are priorities and the water quality is compatible with disc technology.
When not to choose it alone
Do not use disc filtration alone where heavy algae, high organic loading or large debris requires upstream media or screen treatment.
Technical selection data
Project selection is based on flow, required filtration degree, inlet and working pressure, connection standard, material compatibility, water analysis and control requirements. Published values are confirmed only in the project-specific technical proposal.
Typical system configuration
Single filter, parallel filter bank, or a downstream precision stage after screen or media filtration.
Maintenance and backwash
Routine work focuses on checking pressure differential, backwash performance, valves, controller settings and the condition of the disc elements.
